BACKGROUND
The idea that handmade goods are better than mass produced goods is not new.
We are not the first to prioritize natural materials.
We draw inspiration from many brands which are still thriving today. For years, we have watched these brands grow, bolstering "heritage" categories within various industries.
PROJECT PANDION was created to bring a contemporary [experimental] approach to "heritage" materials and methods of construction.
A Message From the Founder
It took several years to create PROJECT PANDION...an arduous journey to say the least. Countless manufacturers around the world did not want to deal with the headache of a young and inexperienced brand owner unwilling to compromise on his vision. I reached the edge of giving up, then decided I needed to make one last-ditch effort to get PROJECT PANDION started - so I flew down to Leon and started knocking on the doors with my prototypes in hand. From that trip, 10 new prototypes from 5 different manufacturers were created, and from there the choice was obvious. I believe the manufacturer we are working with is one of only a few in the world capable of producing PROJECT PANDION footwear.
I invision PROJECT PANDION offering more than footwear one day, and whatever else we choose to make - PROJECT PANDION is only going to put its name on products that are of the highest quality.
